Pricing Data Analyst

Overview:

CU Engage is seeking a Pricing Data Analyst to directly support our consulting service offerings. An individual in this role will be required to track and analyze pricing trends in the marketplace using industry databases, catalogues, public reports as well as proprietary business intelligence. A key function of this role is decomposing, normalizing and analyzing service costs from disparate sources. Other duties include maintaining price lists, contributing content for sales proposals, reviewing price quotes, generating pricing reports on sales revenue and preparing revenue forecasts and budgets for project managers. To be successful in this role, a Pricing and Data Analyst will be able to work independently under general guidance, prioritize tasks and communicate well with superiors and team members. This individual will be detailed oriented and analytical with the ability to out-focus to the big picture. This role reports to the Principal director of Enterprise Architecture, Business Intelligence and IT Infrastructure. Preferred locations include Tampa, FL or Minneapolis, MN.

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited to:

· Provide pricing analysis for management

· Perform margin and pricing analysis in order to support business initiatives

· Monitor and update pricing tables

· Validate proposal quotations for accuracy

· Develops a system of communication, documentation and review of internal and external comparative pricing data

· Identifies opportunities to optimize pricing strategies

· Consults with sales, marketing and project teams to develop proposals

· Prepares multi-year cost and pricing models for internal and client use

· Strong financial modeling experienc

 

Required Experience:

· Bachelor’s Degree in mathematics, finance, accounting or statistics

· Requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience in the financial industry

· Experience in working with solutions involving enterprise-grade software applications, preferably in payments, digital, core areas of expertise.

· High proficiency with Excel, SQL, BI and other data analysis and financial modeling tools
